Return to Shironagasu Manga Adaptation Permanently Cancelled Due To Scheduling Conflicts
It was announced on Dec 30, 2023, that the visual novel would receive a manga adaptation.
The manga adaptation of the acclaimed cult visual novel “Return to Shironagasu Island”, which was scheduled to start in 2024 in Kadokawa Young Ace, has been cancelled due to scheduling conflicts.
The editorial department of the magazine has the following message to say regarding the matter:
“The end of last year, it was announced in Young Ace that a new serialization of “Return to Shironagasu Island” was scheduled to be published in 2024. However, due to a lack of coordination by our editorial department, the project has had to be cancelled due to scheduling conflicts. We sincerely apologize to the readers who had been looking forward to the serialization, as well as to the original author Onimushi Hyogo and everyone involved, for the inconvenience caused.”
