What’s more, it’s been further rumored that Studio TMS Entertainment will be animating Sakamoto Days, bringing it to life to animated TV.

While the news of Sakamoto Days having an anime adaptation coming this year seems enlivening, fans are, however, disappointed over Netflix acquiring the distribution rights. According to them, the streaming platform has done a huge disservice to long running shows like Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure and streaming Sakamoto Days might turn out to be another disaster with no marketing plan, subtitles by a brainless human, poor video quality, they fear.
Some fans have also shown concern about TMS animating Sakamoto Days, but the studio is well reputed for bringing series like Dr. Stone, Baki, Lupin the 3rd, Detective Conan and Undead Unluck to TV screens. So I personally think fans don’t have to worry about the animation quality.
