Studio Shaft’s New Madoka Magica Film Unveils New Trailer, Key Visual, And Winter 2024 Release
The franchise also announced that the film will premiere in the winter of 2024 in Japan.
On September 10, at the Aniplex Online Fest 2023 event, the Puella Magi Madoka Magica: Walpurgisnacht-Rising (4) film revealed a trailer and key visual.
The franchise also announced that the film will premiere in the winter of 2024 in Japan however, international release dates will be announced sometime later.
Pella Magi Madoka Magica: Walpurgisnacht-Rising (4) was announced in April 2021, and SHAFT will animate the movie.

Puella Magi Madoka Magica is an original anime project by the Magica Quartet (Akiuiki Shinbo, Ume Aoki, Gen Urobuchi, and Atsuhiro Iwakami).
In January 2011, the anime first premiered and ran until April of the same year, releasing a total of 12 episodes, with the final two episodes being delayed due to the Great East Japan Earthquake.
The series also got multiple manga and novel adaptations, even after the anime project ended and wrapped up the story.
Many dedicated magazines and video games were also released by the franchise. In October 2012, two recap movies were released, followed by a third movie titled Rebellion, which premiered in October 2013.
The movie featured a new original storyline and also serves as the prequel to Walpurgisnacht.
Its spin-off story, Magica Record, also received an anime adaptation by SHAFT, which ended earlier this year. It was also adapted into a mobile game.
