The One Piece Remake By Studio WIT Reveals Concept Arts, Key Staff Members And Behind The Scenes Production Clip!
The new One Piece anime is rumored to adapt “from” the East Blue Saga, possibly hinting at covering more arcs.
Studio WIT’s remake of Toei Animation’s One Piece anime is going to break the anime community by miles! One glimpse at the concept arts and the passion infused by the staff members working on the project can tell you how AMAZING this remake will turn out to be.
On Aug 11, 2024, Studio WIT and Netflix uploaded a behind-the-scenes video looking at the production of The One Piece, including a round-table discussion by the staff.
The video showcases some concept arts, character design sheets that the animators cooked. Keep in mind that the following screenshots are not the final product that you’ll see on screen. Take a look!
From what fans have said on Twitter, this One Piece remake anime will have less censorship compared to Toei’s adaptation. For instance, if you look at the Sanji art above, it is more bloodier than the same scene by Toei. This paves the way for WIT animators to portray Oda’s darker skeleton of One Piece.
