Trillion Game Manga Is Going On Hiatus Due to Ryoichi Ikegami’s Health

The 13th edition of Big Comic Superior, published by Shogakukan, revealed on Friday that Ryōichi Ikegami and Riichirou Inagaki’s Trillion Game manga will be put on hold because of Ikegami’s deteriorating health.

In December 2020, the manga was first published in Shogakukan’s Big Comic Superior magazine by Inagaki (Eyeshield 21, Dr. Stone) and Ikegami (Crying Freeman).
On April 30, the ninth volume was shipped. Over 1.5 million copies of the manga are now in circulation. In January, the manga was awarded a Shogakukan Award.
In February, Viz Media declared that the series will be available in print in English beginning this autumn.
