Yoko Takashashi Still Practices The Evangelion Theme Song Daily
Yoko Takahashi explains that she wants to make sure she can still perform it at the peak of her ability.
During the Sports Hochi this past weekend, singer Yoko Takahashi revealed that she still listens to the original 1995 recording of the Neon Genesis Evangelion anime, “A Cruel Angel’s Thesis” on a daily basis.
She then explains that she wants to make sure she can still perform it at the peak of her ability.
Takahashi further says that she believes being able to sing the song is “truly a gift from heaven”. She also said that the song still makes her nervous because of the way the arrangement goes into the vocals immediately.
She further told Sports Hochi “I practice for at least two hours every day and I’m improving day by day. My range is wider than it used to be.”
