You Would Not Believe What Gojo’s Satoru No. 1 Strength And Weakness Is In Jujutsu Kaisen!
Now, you might think this is Gege hating on himself and Gojo once again but he might be onto something here.
Gojo Satoru is a man of many words. Some would say he’s the hottest character there is, while others say he’s the strongest sorcerer of all time. But if you ask the author, Gege Akutami, he would say “Why did he ever exist?”.
Bro hates him like he’s Hitler. I never seen an author hate his own character this much before. Some suspect that Gojo’s personality mirrors Akutami’s and that’s why Akutami doesn’t like him (looks like he hates himself).
Gege carried forward this “hate energy” while answering some questions about Gojo Satoru and when questioned about Gojo’s #1 weakness and strength, he had only one answer to both.

Yes. You read that right. It’s Gojo’s own personality that made him the strongest and ultimately led him to lose his life in the battle against Ryomen Sukuna.

Now, you might think this is Gege hating on himself and Gojo once again but he might be onto something here.
Gojo’s dominant personality can come across as haughty or overbearing, but his sincere concern for the people he cares about frequently counteracts this. He values freedom and independence, and is willing to challenge authority and tradition when he feels that they are unjust or limiting.
For instance, that urge to challenge authority worked well for him when he wanted to kill the higher-ups at Jujutsu Tech and Jujutsu Society in general, he ultimately left it to Yuta and Inumaki to kill them.
However, the same desire backfired when he challenged and lost to Sukuna, who was clearly stronger than Gojo (Gojo literally said Sukuna wasn’t even trying). The dude knew he’d lose to Sukuna but he still went out there and sacrificed himself anyway.
Sure that might help his students take charge and become the next generation of sorcerers by taking down the old ones, but Gojo knew they were capable of becoming his true successors because he specifically name dropped some of them.
He once thought nobody would challenge him but now he has now changed that to “nobody and his hand-picked successors can challenge him” so in that sense, he has defeated Sukuna.
