Will Esperon Secure Japan’s World Cup Victory? Ao Ashi Chapter 402 Spoilers!!
The timing of this Ao Ashi could not be any better.
In the previous Ao Ashi chapter, the match between Japan’s team Esperon and Spain’s FC Barca heads towards its finale as Esperon blocks Xhaka’s shot and Ashito declares that he will kill the king.
It is now 90 minutes to this half and Akiyama restarts play, giving the ball to Akutsu for their counter.
Thanks to Akiyama’s save, having read Xhaka’s destructive power last chapter, Ashito is not only motivated to “kill the king” but also regains his lost stamina for the remaining 6 minutes of the match.
Yuuma gets dispossessed by Suzak, passing the ball off to Yuri which then it goes to Falco.
Ashito tracks back, but Ootomo gets to Falco first and slides tackles the ball as a way to lessen Ashito’s work load and secure their win.
Seeing this, Ashito heads for Barca’s backline but Ootomo is now between by Falco and Gato.
To overcome this, Ootomo takes what he learned from Kuribayashi and Barcelona’s one-twos to drive the ball to Asari and Takasugi’s direction, with Asari taking the ball and coming between Ootomo and Takasugi to form a triangle.
Each player learned something important from their counterparts in Barca.
Asari, inspired by Obsidian, Gato, and Demian beating Esperion’s press with their dribbling, nutmegs Barca’s new Fullback and gets the ball to Takasugi.
In turn, Takasugi, inspired by Barcelona’s efficient touches, quickly lays it off to Ootomo.
Ootomo rushes past Gato and finds Ashito. Perhaps this shot could determine the match
