Crazy Isagi Declares War on Noel Noa! Blue Lock Chapter 284 Spoilers!
Isagi channels main protagonist energy, by Blue Lock standards, and plans to use literally everyone to make himself the king of this Neo-Egoist League.
In the previous Blue Lock chapter, Isagi makes a sacrifice play so that Rin does not score the goal, resulting in an impressive deflect from Gagamaru.
Blue Lock Chapter 284 is titled, “Soul”
This chapter has 20 pages.
Editor’s note: “Roar! The crowd erupts! With a superhuman reaction (Bear claw), Germany deflects Rin’s attack!”
The crowd cheers on from that amazing deflect from Gagamaru, which the announcer considers a big save that rescued Bastard Munchen.
Igaguri and Raichi cheer on for Gagamaru.
Putting the tired Isagi on the head, Hiori praises his well calculated plan but Isagi notes that he did not anticipate Gagamaru’s save and considered the possibility of Rin winning the match from the start.
Isagi notes that there is a low chance of stopping Rin with a normal tackle with how strong Rin is so Isagi focused instead of limiting Rin’s shooting options and trusted Kaiser to stop the block.
If Isagi aimed to steal the spotlight by shooting the ball himself, Rin would save it with his improved state.
Predicting this outcome, Isagi decided to use Rin’s psychology and destroy him even more by deflecting his shot.
Hiori remarks that Isagi’s plan is crazy as Isagi was using himself as a pawn to manipulate Kaiser.
Hiori views this as a whole new level of “treating yourself like an object”.
Normally, it is geniuses like Noa who use prodigies like Kaiser and Isagi as pawns but now it is Isagi playing on everyone’s psychology, even his own, such that Isagi is willing to be a literal sacrificial pawn for Kaiser to act exactly as Isagi planned.
Isagi revealed that to avoid getting swallowed up by geniuses, he would sacrifice himself for the sake of victory.
Meanwhile, Rin chides Isagi for being lukewarm and hyping himself up over just one defense, telling him that his ego as a striker is rotten.
However, Isagi counters, saying that the whole world was expecting Rin’s supergoal, waiting for the moment of his birth as a genius, as the Neo-Egoist League’s hero.
But with Isagi’s sacrifice play, he was able to crush Rin’s big moment, twisting the narrative of history in favor of the prodigy, giving Isagi the greatest egotistical pleasure yet!
Noel Noa and Julian Loki were paying attention to Isagi’s speech.
The announcer declares that the three-minute timer for the Star Change System is up, enforcing the master players to be substituted.
Loki expressed disappointment that Rin was unable to score Loki’s pass, wondering how long it would take for the best striker to be born in Japan.
Isagi tells Loki to shut up and that he and Kaiser crushed the future he imagined for Rin.
Noa scolds Isagi, saying that the world is watching and that Isagi’s play was definitely beyond their imagination.
Isagi also calls out Noa for using him to awaken Kaiser as pawns for Noa’s ego, viewing him with the same disdain as the other geniuses in the field.
Isagi promises to surpass Noa’s theories and that the next World Cup will be his.
Noa looks forward to this.
The announcer picks up on Isagi’s declaration of war against his own team’s master
Igarashi and Karasu both call out Isagi for being an idiot for talking to Noa this way.
Hiori remarks that Isagi got his screws loose.
Isagi states that he intends to discard useless emotions and pride for the sake of victory, such that he is willing to sell his own soul and use himself as a tool to beat Itoshi Rin.
Isagi turns to Kaiser and offers a direct alliance with the “shitty rose” to finish this together.
We see a puzzle piece with the name “Kaiser”
Editor’s note: “An unexpected tag-up! A proposal that transcends boundaries invites the Emperor, Kaiser, and Isagi to fight together!”
Blue Lock Chapter 285 will be titled, “Agreement” and will be released on November 27, 2024.
