Nagi FINALLY Decides to Grow Up After Seeing Reo’s Goal! Blue Lock Chapter 297 Spoilers!
No longer wanting to be a pain to Reo, Nagi declares that he will find his fire on his own, the same way Isagi has observed for himself.

In the previous Blue Lock chapter, Reo and Nagi struggle to gain a lead over their opponents but they resolve to make the goal themselves.
Blue Lock Chapter 297 is titled, “To the Future”
This chapter has 20 pages.
Editor’s note: “Amidst adversity, Reo’s still aiming for the world together. To Nagi, this light is…”
The chapter begins with Nagi seeing how, even though his own fire is gone, Reo still refuses to dim and thus Nagi sees a new dream beyond the status quo.
While lifting the ball with one finger, Reo declares that their team got 2 points and that the two of them are the protagonists.
These boys need to be reminded this is not Episode Nagi.
Nagi sees that even though Reo is nervous, he still fires himself up and, as such, Nagi has to do the same.
In the other arena, Isagi brings up how the key to his ecstasy of victory and it sounds similar to Rin’s drive to destruction.
If there is someone he wants to beat and a goal to achieve, he would bring out “the logic to do it” and thus he can turn into a machine to execute this logic perfectly.
Isagi finds the thrill in winning based on his calculations and sees himself as a video game player whose avatar levels up with every victory and result, which in turn enables him to replicate techniques better.
However, Isagi notes that he cannot reproduce the same fire as before, that techniques and logic are just means to carry out the plan.
For Isagi, the fire inside him is the first step to every plan.
While Isagi monologues, Ego announces the subsequent auction bids.
3rd place is Shidou at 160 million yen and 4th is Barou at 150 million.
Isagi thinks about the dreams, goals and rivals he wants to beat.
In knowing this “fire” can he survive while those who misjudge this drive fail.
We return to Reo and Nagi’s match, with Nagi wondering where he could pass to Reo and declares his intent to become the Nagi that Reo desires.
With the ball close to his head, Nagi thinks for a moment about what to do but then Lavinho charges and takes the ball from Nagi, saying that football is not a “pass-connecting” sport.
Then Chris takes the ball back and tells his team, Manshine City, that it is not over and they should move to the future.
However, Chris does not give the ball to Nagi, saying that he does not grant the future to egoists who do not pursue ideals.
Chris kicks the ball far, calling out to Reo to pass the ball.
Otoya is surprised that Chris replicated his move.
Like a lizard with scales all over his body, Reo Mikage leaps forward to claim the ball as Nagi watches in awe and sees Reo score the goal.
That is 2-2, bringing Game 9 to a tie.
Although Reo apologizes for shooting on his own, Nagi in turn apologizes for being a pain to Reo.
Seeing that he has always been spoiled like a child by Reo, Nagi declares that, from now on, he will have to get his fire on his own rather than wait for Reo or anyone else.
