Boruto Chapter 80 Spoiler: Sarada Awakens Mangekyo Sharingan

Boruto chapter 80 will officially release on 20 March but the spoilers have arrived. After releasing a fire chapter where Eida reversed the lives of Kawaki and Boruto, this new chapter shows great trust in Sasuke for her daughter Sarada.

As these are spoilers and not official releases, please take them with a grain of salt.

Boruto Chapter 80 Spoilers

The chapter starts with showing Boruto still being on run. We are then cut to Shkiamaru who tries to confirm with Eida that she is sure about Boruto killing Naruto. Kawai holds Eida by her collar and she responds by confirming her claim.

Shikamaru then relays the information to everyone stating Boruto has killed Naruto. Upon hearing this Sarad breaks down while Mitsuki goes after Boruto.

Eida asks Kawaki if he had to go this far too and he replies that this will allow him to keep Naruto sealed until he kills Boruto, soon after Daemon arrives.

Sasuke finds Sarada and she informs him that Mitsuki wants to kill Boruto. Sasuke is also under Eida’s spell and considers Mitsuki’s reaction natural.

Sumire contacts Sarada who is also unaffected by Eida’s spell. The chapter then focuses on Boruto where he encounters team 10 and gets caught by them.

Sumire informs that Eida is behind this and only those two are unaffected by it. Sarada starts crying and desperately tries to convince Sasuke that Boruto is not the villain.

Sasuke still under Eida’s spell tells Sarada to go back home. She then asks Sasuke, “Listen, Dad…my first and last act of selfishness..” and at that moment Sarada unlocks her “Mangekyo Sharingan”.

Her mangekyo sharingan looks very different from those we have seen before. Unlike others, where their sharingan resembled a pinwheel hers resembles more like a gear.

Sasuke is shocked by seeing Sarada manifest the mangekyo, chapter then cuts to Boruto’s encounter with team 10 where Sasuke swoops Boruto. Eida sees all this and decides to go after Sasuke and Boruto.

He then shares his story of making Kawaki his apprentice and them defeating Momoshiki together.

He then continues by saying, he is unable to trust his own memories as Boruto holds his shinobi headband. Sasuke continues by saying that he is risking his life to help him only because of Sarada.

Momoshiki is pissed and says what has happened cannot be reversed and demands Boruto to stay shut in and let him take over. Boruto still doesn’t break and Momoshiki seems to be applauding the boy’s mentality.

Eida arrives to apologise but our protagonist smiles and says that he has the blood of his father, mother and grandfather in him. He continues by saying, He is a shinobi and has inherited the will of fire.

The chapter ends with showing Boruto preparing for training with Naruto’s projection beside him. Code is preparing for revenge and Kawaki is hellbent on killing Boruto.

The side text says: “I will put an end to this “brother fight” as a shinobi who has inherited the will of fire…! The story enters a new chapter.”

Boruto manga will go on hiatus for three months but stay tuned for more content on Boruto and other Shonen titles.
