Konohamaru Looks for Gaara and Shinki! Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 16 Sneak Peek.
Konohamaru is investigating the situation in the Hidden Sand. Now what are Boruto and Kawaki up to?
In the previous chapter, we see Gaara’s defeat at the hands of Matsuri, Shinki being absorbed to create his sentient God Tree Ryu, and Boruto allying with Kawaki to take down the sentient God Trees.

Chapter 16’s sneak peek shows Yodo and Araya welcoming Konohamaru to the Land of Wind and the three of them heading out immediately to begin their investigation.
It seems that in this chapter, Konohamaru was sent by Shikamaru to look into what happened to Gaara and Shinki, possibly to free Gaara.
However, in the last chapter, Ryu, Shinki’s sentient God Tree, plans to kill Gaara that has been protected inside Shinki’s “Magnet Iron Grain Seal Palm”, which only Shinki, and therefore, Ryu, can unseal it.
Question now is what are Boruto and Kawaki planning to do after just deciding to be allies for the meantime?
