A New Magnet Style User? Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 18 FULL SPOILERS!!
A new kenjutsu to counter Ryu’s Iron Sand emerges to save Sarada and co. We might have a new badass sword user in the Boruto verse.
This set of Boruto spoilers provides more complete details than the previous text leak.

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 18 is titled: “Sleep on it”.
This chapter is 40 pages long, including the cover page.

The chapter begins with a contemplative Sumire entering Amado’s laboratory after punching int the access code.
Sumire is shocked to see Kawaki grab Amado by the throat, which makes her scream.
Kawaki assures her that this is a normal discussion between them.
Kawaki requests Amado to remove the limiters and change his body for improved attack performance, otherwise Amado is useless.
As Amado coughs from the strain, Kawaki lets the man talk for a while, warning him to choose his next words carefully.
Amado then says, “Save your nonsense for when you’re asleep”, causing Kawaki to collapse.
The chapter title is revealed as we see Amado use the idiom as a shutdown code.
Sumire remarks on how the shutdown is similar to the one used for Delta, which he did use in Boruto Chapter 44: “Amado” to escape Kara’s base
After Amado shuts down Kawaki, he asks for Sumire’s help to carry him away.
Back in the Hidden Sand, Mitsuki introduces the Sand duo and Konohamaru compliments on Matsuri’s health complexion as an assurance that she is fine.
Page 9 is the first sneak peek page, where Konohamaru and Matsuri talk in private and Matsuri asks if she can call him “Konohamaru-chan”, which triggers a flashback, showing Moegi grow from her kid self, to her Shippuden self, and now to her adult self, indicating Konohamaru’s lingering feelings for her.

Meanwhile, Sarada’s group and Ryu find a spo in the desert that Sarada claimed to have traces of Boruto, which leads Ryu to activate his Iron Sand technique, which is where we find the second sneak peek, at page 12.
As the sands surround Yodo, Ryu remarks on her strong killing intent directed at Ryu
Yodo assures Ryu that the directed killing intent is normal for ninja as they are always on high alert.
Mitsuki tells Ryu that the Leaf are pursuing Boruto as a criminal, so he asks Ryu why he is after Boruto.
Ryu explains that he is not sure but brings up the “thorn soul” as information Boruto should not be allowed to know.
Sarada suggests to Ryu to use the Thorn Soul as bait to lure out Boruto.
This makes Ryu react.
Meanwhile back in the Leaf, Amado sees Kawaki wake up and asks that he calm down so they can talk.
Amado does agree that they need to stop the sentient Divine Trees and that Kawaki with full offensive powers is key to stopping them but he has a condition.
Amado brings out the capsule containing an unconscious clone of his daughter Akebi Sanzu to be used as a vessel for reincarnation via Karma.
However, Kawaki refuses, saying that the deal means that he will kill Amado’s daughter, since she is an Otsutsuki upon revival.
Kawaki does not intend to increase the number of enemies, so he intends to kill them first before reviving Akebi.
Amado notes, again, that he did not anticipate the birth of the Shinju but last chapter, Shikamaru suspected that everything that happened must be working towards some master plan of his.
Is Amado’s plan to save his daughter the only thing he is up to?
Amado explains that the Karma he gave Kawaki essentially makes him immortal, with heightened defenses and constant healing, but it is all designed that way by Amado’s genius capabilities so that Kawaki can preserve the data for his daughter’s revival.
If Kawaki chooses to boost his offensive capabilities, he will lose his defensive and healing abilities, making him vulnerable to dying.
However, Kawaki does not care about his own life and only wants to be the biggest monster to fight the other monsters, even at the cost of his own life.
Kawaki insists that Amado will only get his daughter once the sentient Divine Trees, Code and Boruto have been killed, since by the time Kawaki is the last Otsutsuki, there will be no justification to kill Akebi.
As Matsuri expresses her happiness talking to her crush, Konohamaru steps back, feeling uncomfortable since Matsuri is only based off his friend and is not the same person.
Konohamaru tells Matsuri that only one person calls him “Konohamaru-chan” and so he finds it uncomfortable for someone else to do so.
This makes Matsuri jealous, asking who it is.
Then Matsuri asks if it is her original self, Kazamatsuri Moegi, that Konohamaru is referring to.
As Konohamaru attempts to run, Matsuri’s harlequin cloak moves to try and capture Konohamaru like a venus fly trap.
It seems that Matsuri may not have caught on to Konohamaru’s deception but instead expressed jealousy over her original self being the person Konohamaru loves more than her.
Returning to Ryu, the Shinju decides to detach his own Thorn Soul to make it float.
Yodo sees this as her opportunity to kill Ryu and free Shinki.
However, before Araya does anything, Yodo freezes in place.
The bait was not for Boruto but for her.
Mitsuki realizes that Ryu has caught on to them, pretending to be naive.
While trapping everyone in the grains of Iron Sand that Ryu scattered, Ryu expresses disappointment at the constant betrayal of the shinobi world.
Perhaps Jura taught him or that he learned it on his own through this situation, showing that the sentient God Trees are evolving at a more alarming rate.
They are no longer wild beasts.
Ryu then controls Sarada and Yodo like puppets through the Iron Sand, making them fight each other.
Suddenly, a wave frees the pair of the Iron Sand.
The chapter ends with Araya flexing his new technique, “Magnetic Iron – Particle Sealing Blade.”
