DEVIL YAMI FORM DESTROYS THE VERSE!!! BLACK CLOVER CHAPTERS 374 TO 376 SPOILERS!!!

Black Clover returns as we follow the seasonal release schedule and now enter the Fall 2024 issue for Jump GIGA.

In the previous set of Black Clover chapters from the Summer issue, the Silva siblings face their revived mother, Acier Silva. With Nozel’s Silver Guardian as a diversion, Noelle, with Solid and Nebra, charges a powerful Water Magic spell to destroy Acier. 

Now we are headed into the climax of this final arc with THREE new chapters, totalling 61 pages of content.

To welcome this set of three chapters is a color page showing the arrival of fall with Morgen, Nacht, Yami and Ichika, the characters to be featured in the current chapter.

Chapter 374: Kijin

Black Clover Chapter 374 is titled, “Kijin”

Kijin means “demon-god”, which does remind people of Licht’s demon form but it is also in reference to the form Ichika took from taking the drug, which led to the Yami Clan massacre.

This chapter has 19 pages, not including the color page.

Riding on Nacht’s Shadow Magic, Ichika and Nacht rush to the aid of Yami as he fights

However, Nacht’s younger brother, Morgen, stands in their way. With Nacht bittersweetly acknowledging Morgen’s revival.

The chapter brings us back to the battle between the Black Bulls’ Yami Sukehiro and Nacht Faust against Morgen, Nacht’s twin brother who had been revived by Lucius Zogratis’ Soul Magic in Chapter 354: “Judgment Day” to be one of the Great Emperor’s mighty Paladins.

However, in Chapter 357: “The Final Slash”, Jack is defeated by Morgen, leaving Yami to face the Paladin.

Now we return to Yami, who is grievously injured from his fight against Morgen.

He seemingly imagines his young sister Ichika from the time he left Hino Country to take on responsibility for the Yami family massacre.

We then see the shadowy hands that could only come from Nacht’s magic, meaning that Ichika indeed meets Yami in the present.

Yami assumes this is all a hallucination but in reality, Ichika calls out to him to pull himself together.

Yami is shocked by this, considering the distance between the Clover Kingdom and Hino Country.

Ichika explains that she came here thanks to the Black Bulls’ Magic (Finral opening a portal to Hino using Spatial Magic: Fallen Angel Gate).

Hearing from Ichika that Asta is alive, Yami decides to leave everything to them instead, instead to pass on.

Ichika then apologizes for spending all her life hating her brother, now realizing the truth that Yami did everything to bear her sins, which forced him to leave his homeland, his family, and his friend and benefactor, the Shogun Ryuya.

However, Yami tells her that there is no need to do so as he recalls how he left Hino 13 years ago, telling Ryuya that he will live as he pleases and grow much stronger.

Yami promises to return when Ryuya becomes shogun and reunite with Ichika.

In the present, Ichika expresses worry about Yami’s condition as his wound is deep and brings out something that she was given by her master Ryuya.

To her shock, this is the kikongan, the drug responsible for her own transformation into a demon, which led to the death of her entire family outside of herself and Yami Sukehiro.

Yami tells Ichika that his current self can handle the pill now.

It’s chilling to think about why Ryuya would have this pill. It is unlikely but we might figure out Ryuya’s hidden side because this seems rather dark.

Ichika tells Yami the dangers of taking the pill as it is not only about increasing one’s bloodlust but in exchange for greater physical prowess, the user loses their sanity.

Ichika has proven that no one in the Yami clan could control this transformation.

However, in Chapter 323, after being sacrificed for Qliphoth, Yami’s body has gained “devil-like parts”, including his heart.

Physiologically, he is somewhat like Zenon after gaining a devil’s heart to become a full devil.

This body is more able to handle the pill if anything.

Additionally, the Yami clan’s Dark Magic is much closer to devils because their residence is close to a sea contaminated by the Underworld.

Suddenly, Yami’s body begins to transform.

This results in Yami’s body healing at an accelerated rate.

Meanwhile Nacht faces off against the clone Lucius and his brother Morgen and activates, “Mana Zone: The Hunting Grounds of Hell” to expand the reach of his shadows towards the Paladin and the clone Lucius.

Meanwhile, another clone Lucius reaches for Ichika and Yami, now prepared to kill them in one hit.

Suddenly, Yami covers Ichika and we finally see his devil form.

We see shadowy horns on Yami’s head and prayer beads on his neck.

A black mass covers his wrists and with a slash from his Dark Magic, Yami cuts down the Lucius clone.

The chapter ends as Yami promises to protect his sister and to surpass his limits like never before!

Chapter 375: Punishment

Black Clover Chapter 375 is titled, “Punishment”

This chapter has 20 pages

The chapter brings us back to the battle between Nacht and Morgen, with Nacht recognizing the Dark Magic inside his revived twin as that of Lucifugus, the devil that Nacht summoned, leading to the death of the entire Nacht family.

Lucifugus is the reason Morgen died as he sacrificed himself to save Nacht and seal away the devil.

Lucifugus has been purified by Soul Magic and has entered Morgen’s body.

To take down the Lucius clones, Nacht uses his Unity Form combining three devils for the first time to form: “Unite Form: Gallus × Ferris × Canis”, forming scaly armor as he moves the shadowy hands and flies around to take down the Lucius clones.

Returning to Yami’s fight, the Lucius clone remarks that he did not expect Yami to draw out so much power and seemingly admits defeat.

However, the clone points out that the current Morgen has grown much stronger.

From behind the Lucius clone, Nacht’s shadow bubble bursts as Morgen throws Nacht away.

Ichika expresses surprise that even with Asta’s Anti-Magic, Nacht was swiftly defeated.

Although Nacht has already committed to ending his older brother, Nacht still cannot bring himself to kill Morgen a second time.

Morgen fires a Light Magic blast towards Nacht to finish him off but Yami comes to the rescue, deflecting the Light Magic blast.

Keep in mind that Light Magic is the fastest magic in Black Clover, so Yami’s devil form speed was able to keep up in spite of how slow Dark Magic normally is.

Both Nacht and Morgen are surprised by how Yami was able to defeat the Lucius clone so quickly.

Yami tells Nacht to move on as Morgen is gone.

Even then, Nacht is unable to kill someone like Morgen, whose purpose in life is save others and is the embodiment of kindness itself.

So Yami tells Nacht that they should fight together.

Morgen closes in on Yami and Nacht, with Morgen still quiet and unresponsive to Nacht talking about his guilt over what happened with his brother.

Yami comes forward to clash with Morgen, with Nacht telling Morgen that he will never forget him and so he resolves to put his brother to rest in peace because he cannot forgive Morgen being used as a puppet by a bastard like Lucius.

The chapter ends as Yami powers up a Dark Magic attack.

Chapter 376: Suhne

Black Clover Chapter 376 is titled, “Suhne” (Atonement)

This chapter has 21 pages

The chapter begins with Morgen finally speaking, no longer just smirking like an unaffected angel, telling Yami that Lucius is not a bastard but the savior who will bring true peace to this world.

Yami simply activates his “Dark Cloaked Dimension Slash”, which Morgen blocks with Dark Magic, cancelling the effect.

As Morgen declares that he will carve out an ideal world, he activates his Light Magic while covering the entire area in Dark Magic at the same time

With the gravity bringing everyone down and the Light Magic coming after them, the battlefield grows more dangerous, such that one blast hits Yami and brings him down.

Yami notes that he is struggling to defend himself against Morgen’s Light Magic and its high-speed.

Yami sees the current Morgen as so strong that he might be even stronger than Lucius himself, which is a crazy statement considering that it is Lucius’ combination of Body, Blood, Bone, and Soul Magic to purify devils and recreate the bodies of powerful mages into Paladins, including reviving the dead like Morgen.

This could be in reference to the Lucius clones but then again each clone is likely as strong or only a little weaker than the original Lucius.

Even then, to match the man with arguably the ultimate magic, means something and he also has Astaroth’s Time Magic.

As Nacht watches in despair from a rooftop, Ichika steps forward cloaked in Dark Magic, telling Nacht that she refuses to let him be a tragic hero here.

Yami continues to be overwhelmed by Morgen’s high-speed attacks but then Ichika arrives to drive off Morgen with her “Dark Magic – Black Star!”, declaring her intent to support her brother, rather than just be protected by him like usual.

Seeing how his younger sister has grown up, Yami Sukehiro declares that the essence of their Dark Magic is the same, leading to the two Yami siblings to team up.

Together they form “Dark Combined Magic: Black Heaven”, unleashing a black hole in the scene.

After page 9 of this chapter, we see five double-paged spreads.

First, we see Sukehiro and Ichika zooming towards Morgen, moved by the Black Heaven spell’s gravity.

Nacht sees them and is revitalized, flying alongside the Yami siblings.

Nacht now has 8 horns, the most number of horns he has, indicating that his current Unite form is with all four of his devils (Unite Form: Gallus × Ferris × Canis × Equus)  and most of his body except his fingers and face covered in shadow.

Nacht also has four floating shields, likely representing this Unite Form, and with Asta’s Anti-Magic, we are seeing Nacht at full power.

The three of them together create one of the strongest combinations to date:

“Dark × Dark × Shadow Magic: Demonic Banquet of the Frenzied Night”

This attack summons countless shadowy balls from the Black Hole to counteract all the Light Magic projectiles quickly.

How this works is that the three users zip across the floating debris and manage to move fast enough to get away from every single Light Magic blast.

As Dark Magic under a Black Hole possesses a gravitational pull and the ability to absorb magic spells, we see the light orbs moving up, almost dissipating from the effect.

With all obstacles out of the way, the dark and shadow trio fly together towards Morgen as Yami and Nacht each remember their best times with Morgen, feeling gratitude for their respective bonds with him and…

Morgen is stabbed by his brother’s shadow shields as the shadowy hands seal him and bind him to the ground.

Morgen bears a seemingly solemn expression on his face, his arms outstretched, resembling a crucifixion, even down to the positions of the shadow shields.

Befitting the man that Nacht considers his savior.

Nacht says goodbye to his beloved brother, promising to suffer this burden for the rest of his life.

Black Clover may return with Chapter 377 for the Winter 2025 issue, which will be released on December 25, 2024.
