One Piece Chapter 1121 Spoilers:

The chapter begins with Saturn launching an attack on Bonney and Kuma using his poisonous legs. The giants form a shield to block his onslaught. Luffy, surveying the scene, notices Bonney, now transformed into her “Nika” form, struggling to rise despite her exhaustion. He deflects one of Saturn’s attacks away from Bonney but insists she must confront Saturn herself.

Bonney, determined and angry, finally rises and floats in the air, ready to fight. The scene shifts to Vegapunk’s message as he concludes his speech, warning that a similar incident to the “Void Century” is inevitable because the weapons that caused past disasters still exist. As Vegapunk speaks, we see reactions from Vivi and Shirahoshi. In Skypiea, Conis and Aisa arrive at the palace to greet Wiper’s group, unaware of Vegapunk’s broadcast.

Vegapunk emphasizes that the heirs of races intended to be erased from history still remain. During this speech, we see Kuma on an Elbaf ship and flashbacks of his conversation with Vegapunk about the Buccaneers. Marco reminisces about Whitebeard’s tales of the “land of gods” on the Red Line. King, bandaged in a dark room, thinks about the Lunarians, while Pudding, in a cell, recalls her childhood and the bullying she endured for having three eyes.

Back on the Elbaf ship, Saturn continues his assault on Bonney, but Luffy intercepts all his attacks. Bonney remembers the first encounter between Saturn and Kuma in God Valley, as well as Ginny, and recalls Saturn admitting to subjecting her mother to experiments.

“How dare you do all that to my dad and mom? There is no way you guys are ‘gods’! But gods do exist!” Bonney exclaims, as she and Luffy prepare for a combo attack against Saturn. Vegapunk’s message continues, urging people to take care of themselves when disaster strikes and expressing his belief in the wisdom of mankind and science.

We then see reactions from Iceburg, Judge, and Caesar, who are arguing, and Haredas. Emeth is still facing Ju Peter and Warcury on Egghead shore. In another epic double spread, Luffy and Bonney execute their combo attack. Bonney delivers a giant punch to Saturn’s face while Luffy, in giant form, punches the rest of his body. Saturn’s body is blown to pieces, with holes from the punches and some limbs torn off, before falling into the sea. The giants cheer for Bonney and Luffy, and even Kuma seems to smile a little.

Bonney, in tears, cries out, “Wahhhhh!!” while Luffy exclaims, “Dahyahya!! We blew him away! Hey Bonney!! You did great!!!” Meanwhile, the Thousand Sunny is about to fall near the Elbaf ship, where we see Usopp, Chopper, Jinbe, and Zoro. Vegapunk continues his speech, saying the deaths of legends like Roger and Whitebeard are just the beginning of a new era.

A flashback of Roger’s speech before his execution is shown: “My treasure? It’s yours if you want it. Try and find it. I left all the world had to offer in that place.” Vegapunk adds that it is uncertain if the person Joy Boy hoped for will be the one to claim it.

The chapter also touches on the unrest among pirates in Hachinosu waiting for Teach’s return, Rayleigh getting drunk in Sabaody, and Shanks drinking on the Red Force. At Cross Guild, Buggy is in shock over his connection to the true history, while Crocodile and Mihawk look on in annoyance.

In the Marine Headquarters, some Marines discuss the urgency of obtaining the One Piece before anyone else. The chapter concludes with Vegapunk’s closing line, suggesting the fate of the world will be decided by whoever claims the One Piece. The final spread features key characters, including Luffy, Teach, Shanks, Buggy, Akainu, Dragon, Imu, Koby, Kuzan, Figarland Garling, and Sabo, with a mysterious figure in the shadows holding a sword resembling Shanks’ weapon.

The chapter ends with a note of anticipation, as One Piece will take a break and return in Weekly Shonen Jump #36-37/2024 on August 5th.
