Is Rakshas Finally Dead? Schierke Searches for Casca! Berserk Chapter 380 Spoilers!
As Guts surrenders to his death, Schierke’s thought projection reaches Falconia in her search for Casca.
In the previous Berserk chapter, Rakshas closes in on Guts while trolls invade the Kushan capital.
Berserk Chapter 380 is titled, “Shadows Die Twice”.
This chapter has 21 pages, including the color page.
The color page shows the shackled Guts in a green lighting.
The chapter continues where we left off with Roderick and Serpico’s group, together with the Kushans, managing to repel the troll forces, thanks to Farnese’s intervention changing the tide of the battle.
Daiba points at the chanting witches, explaining that the light spell Farnese used is something the Kushans do not have but with this, they might even challenge Griffith.
Meanwhile, Guts and Rakshas finally meet, with Rakshas breaking the jail bars.
Guts welcomes the Apostle, not as an enemy but as the angel of death who will end his misery.
Throughout the Kouji Mori continuation, Guts experienced nothing but the desire to give up on life after losing Casca to Griffith and now Guts finally expresses a relief that his death might be near.
Before Rakshas could stab Guts, Silat appears from behind to stab the shadowy creature’s throat.
Rakshas commends his former master and seemingly dissipates.
Considering that he was shocked by his seeming revival in Kushan after being blasted by Rickert back in Falconia, it is possible that this might as well be the final death of Rakshas.
Unless of course Griffith wants him back.
Silat angrily grabs Guts and asks why he just sat there.
Silat and Guts met as enemies a number of times ever since the Golden Age Arc and those encounters made Silat respect Guts as a warrior.
Now all Silat is left with is not his strongest ally but the empty shell of his most noble adversary.
Daiba and the Bakiraka appear and hold back Silat, who screams at Guts and asks why he chose to welcome death.
Back in the city, Erica reunites with Rickert and expresses worry about their new home becoming a war zone again.
In her room, Schierke’s astral form hovers above the city and has now gone beyond its limits as she searches for Casca, having reached Falconia.
This will be risky if Griffith or even any Apostle senses her due to the overwhelming od they possess.
Can Schierke even try to challenge the God Hand or have a chance at leading Casca out of her gilded cage?
There is no date for Berserk Chapter 381 but Volume 43 has been confirmed for release on August 29, 2025, which could mean we might get another chapter or two before August.
It is clear that this chapter would not be a fitting conclusion for the upcoming volume and since Young Animal announced the release of a new volume, that would mean that Berserk will be releasing more content than last year.
