Jujutsu Kaisen 216 Spoilers: Sukuna’s Rebirth Changes Everything!

Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 216 is supposed to come out on March 12, but the leaks for the chapter are already out! The spoilers reveal details about Sukuna’s “bath” and his past lover as he tries to break Megumi completely.

Jujutsu Kaisen 215 Recap:

The previous chapter saw Yuji and Maki team up against Sukuna in a grueling fight.

While the two could hold their ground with Megumi’s help, Uraume interfered and froze their legs, allowing Sukuna to avoid the fight.

At the end of the chapter, Sukuna orders Uraume to prepare the bath.

Jujutsu Kaisen 216 Recap:

Jujutsu Kaisen 216’s title is “The bath”, and it begins with Uraume and Kenjaku waiting for Sukuna to arrive.

They are near the Zenin clan’s underground chambers in traditional ceremonial robes.

Uraume then asks why Kenjaku is trying to drag out the Culling game. He then explains that he had placed a binding vow on himself to “forcefully end the Culling game” by merging Tengen with the rest of humanity.

However, he got distracted by Sukuna’s “bath”.

Then, we get an explanation of what the bath means.

The “bath” was a ritual originally created to indoctrinate a precious vessel by submerging it in a concoction of Cursed Energy obtained by “Crushing and straining carefully selected creatures with inhuman poisons.

Traditionally, the ritual took 10 months and 10 days to complete. Uraume then explains that they are trying to bring about the “Demon” by repressing Megumi’s soul further into his body.

Sukuna then emerges from the bath, having completed the ritual.

Kenjaku then says that he predicted Sukuna to instantly go for Yorozu as soon as he gets free as the two had a one-sided love affair in the past.

To this, Sukuna replies that he doesn’t care about her, but would love to kill Tsumiki Fushigoro to break Megumi’s spirit.

The scene then shifts to Sendai Colony, where Uro Takako is still alive. She and Ryu Ishigori then sense Sukuna’s presence right before he appears in front of them directly.

Sukuna attacks Ryu with a slash, but the attack was too weak. The King of Curses uses Slash against with an adjusted power level and says that he won’t underestimate his opponents again.

By the time Ryu tries to react with a Granit Blast, Sukuna slices through his head. After possibly killing Uro too, he goes to another compound and confronts Yorozu.

The leaks suggest that the chapter ends with a confrontation.
