Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 223 Spoilers: Gojo’s 200% Power Hollow Purple Unleashed

The spoilers for Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 223 are here, and it is as crazy as one would expect it to be!

The chapter is a rollercoaster of emotions, so tighten your seatbelts as we jump right into it!

Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 223 Spoilers:

According to the leaks, the chapter is titled “Evildoers Hell Batlle Part-1”.

The chapter starts off with Gojo saying “It feels like it’s been a while since I came to Shibuya”.  He is accompanied by Utahime, Ichiji, and Gakuganji as shown in the last chapter.

Ichiji asks Gojo about how it feels inside the Prison Realm.

Gojo replies that it almost feels like a time-lapse, or like a super busy day of work.

He adds that a week feels too short and yet too long at the same time, it’s something you don’t want to experience again.

We also get a look at Shibuya city as well, which is in shambles with the meteorite from Sukuna and Jogo’s fight sticking out.

Gojo then asks about the citizens who were affected by his Unlimited Void during the Shibuya incident. Ichiji replies that all of them have recovered.

He then makes it to the top of the tower where Utahime and Gakuganji and sitting ready. Gojo says “Let’s get started. Utahime, Grandpa”.

The spoilers state that the scene then switches to Sukuna, who’s talking to Uraume.

The latter says that they have no info about where the fight is going to happen inside Shibuya.

However, Sukuna replies that he can see the insanely strong curse aurra from a building far away.

The scene switches again but to a flashback this time. Here, we see Gakuganji talking to Gojo in a room.

The principal admits to killing Yaga, to which Gojo replies with “…okay”.

This shocked Gakuganji, who asks Gojo why he and the others aren’t cursing him to death for this.

Gojo simply replies that it is his fault for getting sealed in the first place. This caused Principal Gakuganji to comply with the elders’ wishes.

Meanwhile, Panda is listening to the conversation as Gojo asks about Yaga’s last words.

Gakuganji reveals that Yaga told him how to create a Cursed Corpse.

Gojo replies “Seems like you changed Grandpa” as he did not report this to the higher-ups.

The next page makes a shocking reveal. Gojo says to Gakuganji that things will get better if he is the leader now.

On the page, we see panels of all the elders slaughtered brutally in their discussion/meeting room.

The flashback continues as Gojo leaves the room after finishing his conversation.

Ichiji is following him and asks why Gojo would need the help of someone like him (Ichiji) since he isn’t even a sorcerer.

Gojo simply replies “You don’t really get it? You are the one I trust the most”.

The flashback ends, and we see Ichiji setting up a barrier right behind Gojo.

He is feeling blue as he wonders about things like him being someone who ran away, but also didn’t as he was not brave enough to do so.

However, he tells himself that the strongest sorcerer believes in him, so he has to live up to the man’s expectations.

We then see Utahime perform a dance ritual that is connected to the Cursed Technique.

Her CT is called “Solo Solo Kinku”. It is explained that her CT can enhance the total output of cursed energy of any sorcerer, including herself.

The chapter then states that the skill of a sorcerer lies in how many of the required steps to cast a CT they can skip.

However, Gojo, Utahime, Ichiji, and Gakuganji perform every single step required to activate their CTs.

This includes enchanting lyrics, performing hands sings, etc.

After all of this is done, we get to see Gojo’s 200% powered-up Hollow Purple in a double spread!! He launches this straight toward Sukuna.

The next page of the chapter is spread as well, with Sukuna caught off guard and intimidated as he tries to tank the hollow purple.

In the spread, we also see buildings getting destroyed by what seems to be pitch-black darkness.

We then see that all the buildings in the way of the Hollow Purple have been destroyed completely.

Then, the narrator chimes in, explaining that Sukuna couldn’t predict Sukuna’s attack due to Ichiji’s barrier.

Sukuna was able to feel the presence, which he had mentioned too. However, the barrier prevented him from understanding the massive attack until the last second.

We then see Gojo and Sukuna come face to face, and the latter’s right hand is burnt and destroyed.

Gojo then says “Seems like you are misunderstanding, so I’ll tell ya. YOU ARE THE CHALLENGER HERE”.

The chapter ends with Sukuna being visibly pissed off, and ready to fight.

There is no break next week. author Gege Akutami also added a comment that he wanted Utahime to hold a microphone and a tape player during her dance, but gave up on the idea for no particular reason.
