MOTORBIKE NINJA SCROLL!! Kagurabachi Chapter 63 Spoilers!!

In the previous Kagurabachi chapter, two Hishaku manage to track Samura’s daughter but the Masumi Squad and Chihiro come in to save the day.

Kagurabachi Chapter 63 is titled, “Car Chase” 

This chapter has 19 pages.

The color page shows Chihiro with the Masumi squad.

The chapter starts outside the school as the Masumi Squad bring Iori out.

The Captain gives the female Masumi a name, Sumi, which has the kanji for charcoal.

So it could really be her actual name.

Sumi brings out a ninja scroll that puffs out smoke clouds to summon

Take that, Tenten!

Hokazono actually implemented the ninja scroll concept better than Naruto.

Kuguri clashes with Chihiro, who is recognized by the class as the serial killer from the Kabuki show. 

Poor guy.

The lily Hishaku who tracks people by blood tells Kuguri that the bike has taken Iori away.

After blocking Chihiro’s blade, Kuguri jumps through the broken window

Chihiro recalls the words the little Captain told him, about how school is a “place far from reach for people like them.”

Not wanting the Hishaku to disturb the peace of kids like Iori, Chihiro goes after Sumi and Iori.

Chihiro is worried that the Hishaku might do something to the school but Moku (meaning: “pattern on wood”), the older brother Masumi, tells Chihiro that: Operation “Take it Easy!”, starts now.

Iori notices there is a katana on Sumi’s bike.

Behind them is a car with the Hishaku duo.

The Lily Hishaku is surprised that the Masumi are exposing themselves to the outdoors in such a day that anyone could tell they have Samura’s daughter.

Perhaps Samura might have already noticed them.

Kuguri is clearly not in the mood of being cramped up inside a car.

Seeing them from behind, Sumi has the back of the wheels bring out shuriken to stop the car in its tracks.

“To cut is to conversate”

Kuguri gets out of the fallen car and brings up how he was essentially interrupted of a good conversation with an opponent he shares a wavelength with (Chihiro).

In total, that’s two Hishaku who are obsessed with this youth.

Kuguri starts sprinting on the asphalt to reach for Iori

Suddenly, a bus and a car block Kuguri’s way but 

Kuguri slices the bus in half, which shocks and impresses Sumi.

Kuguri warns her that his blade can still reach them since all they have done with running away is to make more room for sacrifices.

A reminder that the Hishaku are not afraid to drag the public into their mess.

In a flashback, the Masumi Captain examines Chihiro’s face and sees that his scars are the result of him saving the people in the theater during his fight against Hiruhiko in Chapter 53: “Darkness”

The captain laments at how too much has happened to a youth like Chihiro, having so much information to process and situations that are hard to keep up yet somehow, his eyes still have firm resolve.

The captain expresses how they feel lonely because they are left behind by loners like Chihiro and Samura so he tells Chihiro that they should share the burden to make it easier for him.

We also learn that the captain’s name is “Rou”, written in archaic writing for “Man”, fitting a 20-year-old who looks like a child.

Rou, Moku, and Sumi are the Masumi Squad who work with and now oppose Samura.

Suddenly, Chihiro appears to block Kuguri, who is surprised to see Chihiro move, with Chihiro noting that he now feels lighter thanks to the tea.
