Gaban MEETS Nika! Roger’s 25 Year Plan CONFIRMED! One Piece Chapter 1140 Early Spoilers!!

In the previous One Piece chapter, we finally confirmed that the mystery man of Elbaph is indeed Scopper Gaban and he challenges Luffy for Loki’s key.

One Piece Chapter 1140 is titled, “Scopper Gaban”.

We continue with Volume 26 of the cover story, “Ogre Child Yamato’s Golden Harvest Surrogate Pilgrimage” as Who’s Who attacks Ulti with knives.

The chapter begins with Luffy facing off against Gaban but Gaban outclasses him in every way, leading to hit upon hit that frustrate Luffy so much that he activates GEAR 5.

WE WERE RIGHT!!! Our hints article confirmed that Luffy would use Gear 5 against Gaban but only out of frustration because Gaban was too strong for him in his current level.

This is the first time Luffy activates Gear 5 not out of fun or joy but out of anger, which could set an interesting precedent on the dangers of Gear 5 outside stamina and life force.

Maybe if Luffy gets too angry, Nika takes over as a wrathful destroyer.

Even Zoro joins in the fight, so Gaban is going 2 against 1 here.

However, the mere sight of Gear 5 (and the addition of Zoro as well) was enough for Gaban to quit provoking them and so he hands over the key.

But this was not the act of a fraud.

Oh no, this was the act of a man who saw his plans come to fruition.

In our video on One Piece Chapter 1132: “Adventure in Elbaph”, we pointed out that Roger had a plan to bring back Sun God Nika into the world and it was something he shared with Gaban.

Gaban had a reason to wait on Elbaph and it was to see the “fruit” of their 25-year plan, of someone awakening Sun God Nika after the Void Century.

Now we finally confirm how the Magic Circles are made as we see Gunko draw one in the forest.

The Magic Circles are called “Abyss” and if you look at their form, they resemble the magic circles used to summon demons, like the island where Brook was teleported to by Kuma at the end of the Sabaody Archipelago Arc.

So anyone can make them on the ground in order to bring people into places.

Question is, how did Aurust Castle have a Magic Circle? Did it just pop because Gunko set coordinates for Elbaph?

We now meet two new God’s Knights.

The first is named Saint Shepherd Sommers of the House Shepherd, a big man with long hair, beard and glasses.

Given his surname, he is likely related to Saint Shepherd Ju Peter, one of the Five Elders

The second Saint Limotive Gillingham of the House Limotive, a newly introduced house.

Gillingham appears in a human hybrid Kirin form,yet another mythical Zoan.

This means that Gillingham has either the Ushi Ushi no Mi: Model Kirin or the Uma Uma no Mi: Model Kirin because Kirins are half-dragon, half-horse but are more like real-life giraffes, who in turn are often assumed to be related to hooved creatures (ox in the One Piece world) such as horses.

However, in reality, giraffes are more related to dolphins than to horses, just as, in One Piece, the Azure Serpent Seiryu that Kaido has is a fish devil fruit instead of a dragon devil fruit.

With that, we have TEN existing confirmed Celestial Dragon Houses out of the 19 from the First Twenty that made up the World Government.

Shamrock asks Gunko why she brought in two God’s Knights when he asked for only one.

Gillingham explains that Shamrock has been summoned back to Mary Geoise, meaning the two of them will take over.

Perhaps Gillingham’s Hybrid form is an assertion of dominance over Shamrock, son of newly-minted Elder Star, Garling.

We need to see some more Celestial Dragon politics, which the God’s Knights were introduced for.

The chapter ends with Shamrock declaring that they will “make a game” in Elbaph.

A game? A Human Hunting Competition? 

Just like the one on God Valley 38 years ago.

How will they do that with Giants? Unless of course, the players are God’s Knights.
