GEAR 5 LUFFY vs Scopper Gaban HYPE!! One Piece Chapter 1140 Hints!
Are the hints suggesting that Luffy just used Gear 5 against Scopper Gaban?
In the previous One Piece chapter, we finally confirmed that the mystery man of Elbaph is indeed Scopper Gaban and he challenges Luffy for Loki’s key.
One Piece Chapter 1140 might contain some of the most surprising turns for the Elbaph Arc as we will see Luffy go head-to-head against the third strongest man in Gol D. Roger’s crew and possibly the arrival of another God’s Knight.
Gear 5 Luffy Vs The Left Arm of the Pirate King
The first reaction indicates that fans will not know exactly what will be coming from this chapter but the image used is actually Luffy activating Gear 2.
Normally, this would mean Luffy started using Gear 2 and already showing that even his less powerful Gears can match a Yonko-level opponent.
But what if we will see Luffy bust out Gear 5 against Gaban and that is the part we are not ready for?
Is Dragon Making a Move or is This Gaban’s Devil Fruit?
The last hint shows a Qilin, a Chinese half-dragon, half-horse figure and there are three possibilities we are seeing.
Considering that Luffy might have used Gear 5, the Qilin could be Gaban’s Mythical Zoan Devil Fruit, which he unleashed just to show that Luffy was no ordinary foe.
Alternatively, since the Qilin is a half-dragon, we could see Dragon getting involved in the plot again.
The Third God’s Knight Arrives
The final hint shows a castle surrounded by an explosion.
Although it could also suggest that the outcome of Luffy vs Gaban is the destruction of Aurust Castle, we might also potentially see the new God Knight as in Chapter 1138: “Harley”, Shamrock did ask Gunko to summon a new God’s Knight to help kidnap Elbaph’s Giant Children.
An explosion in the castle did happen when by the end of Chapter 1134: “The Owl Library”, we saw Shanks’ twin, Shamrock and his partner Gunko emerge from a magic circle.
Additionally, if we are getting a new God’s Knight, perhaps the Qilin is their Devil Fruit, which matches the yokai or mythical theme of the Five Elders to a tee.
