Loki’s TRAGIC Backstory? One Piece Chapter 1144 Hints

In the previous One Piece chapter, Luffy easily defeats Loki while God’s Knights reveal their true powers as they play their game with the deadly children of Elbaph.

One Piece Chapter 1144 will have more action but also more drama and emotion as we see the start of the fight against God’s Knights and potentially the start of Loki’s flashback.

Loki Flashback Incoming?

The reaction is that of teary eyes, indicating that the chapter is quite emotional.

Considering where we ended off last chapter, it seems we might get the Loki flashback as this point to provide context for who Loki is as a person but also the crime that imprisoned him in the first place, the death of his father, King Harald.

Nika’s Shield?

The first  hint shows a shield and while this could just be some other Giant’s shield, there is a chance we might see Nika’s shield appear, either as part of Loki’s flashback, the lore of Elbaph or even in the main story.

Ikoku Sovereignty

The second hint shows the move, “Ikoku Sovereignty”, used by Dorry and Brogy, which means we will see it again, either against the Nightmare World or against the God’s Knights.

Perhaps Saul and Principal Kiba could do this or Dorry and Brogy when the monsters draw near.

Perhaps we might see this in the Loki flashback. Who can say?

Brook Saves the Kids

The last hint shows a gif of Brook’s first reappearance in the New World as the Soul King, playing for the audience.

This could mean that Brook uses his music to counter Gunko’s arrow or even Killingham’s spell over the children.

Can that also help dispel the monsters from their nightmares manifested into reality?

One Piece Chapter 1145 will be released on April 7, 2025, just in time for the return of the One Piece anime after its six-month hiatus.
