Robin and Saul’s TOUCHING Reunion! One Piece Chapter 1133 Early Spoilers!!
One Piece’s most touching reunion is about to take place.
In the previous One Piece chapter, the Straw Hats all reunite on the Sun layer of Elbaph while a mysterious figure is on the prowl.
Thanks to Pewpiece for covering the early chapter spoilers.
One Piece Chapter 1133 is titled, “Praise Me”
After 20 volumes, the “Ogre Child Yamato’s Golden Harvest Surrogate Pilgrimage” cover story has finally revealed the mysterious silhouette that has been kidnapping people around Wano and it is Holed’em, one of Kaido’s Shinuchi (Headliners).
Holed’em has kidnapped O-Tama again just like he did in Act 1 of the Wano Country Arc.
What does he have to gain from these disappearances?
The chapter begins with a flashback to the Ohara Incident but from Spandine’s viewpoint for some reason.
If you recall, Spandine was the one who led the “investigation” into the Ohara Scholars and was responsible for the murder of Clovis.
This is interesting. Could Spandine be in this chapter in the present?
Anyway, we also see Robin’s flashback mix old content, as well as new scenes.
Of these new scenes, we see kid Robin contemplate on ending her life.
However, something stopped her.
Considering that Saul recovered remnants of Ohara’s supposedly lost knowledge, the Elbaph Arc might reveal more secrets from the Void Century and might even continue this traumatic arc for Robin herself.
This is an interesting direction for an arc that was once hyped up to be Usopp’s big development.
In the present, the Straw Hats head for Saul’s location since they were all informed that he had suddenly collapsed.
They use a mist ship powered by clouds.
It seems that either a different ship or the Thousand Sunny was rigged with the means to fly using clouds.
Lilith reveals that Vegapunk’s Cloud Plant technology can be used on Elbaph due to its unique atmospheric conditions, which were such that a rainbow bridge could be constructed and might be a contributing factor to Gigantification but that’s another story.
The Straw Hats finally arrive at Saul’s location and here we learn that Saul has since become the history professor in Elbaph, teaching the Giants about the world’s history.
Has he imparted the secrets of Ohara to the commons as well?
As it turns out, the collapse from Chapter 1131: “Loki of the Underworld” was a prank as it was meant to be a callback to how Robin first met Saul when he was unconscious and washed up on the shores of Ohara.
Who else guessed this was just a prank?
Robin instantly knew what Saul was up to.
In another flashback, we see exactly how Saul survived the Ohara Incident.
The flames from the burning of the Tree of Knowledge and the Buster Call’s flames were able to melt Aokiji’s ice.
However, because of said flames, Saul now has burn marks on his body.
At the chapter’s climax, we see Robin ask Saul if he could praise her for surviving this long.
After over 20 real-time years since we saw the Ohara Incident that took Saul away and 2 years since we learned that Saul was alive in Chapter 1066: “The Will of Ohara”, the two friends reunited and it is quite an emotional moment as the Straw Hats have tears in their eyes (except for Jinbe and Zoro, whose expressions are not shown) and Luffy smiling at the reunion.
Oda capped off a powerful emotional story arc for Robin.
We know Robin spent most of her life on the run, working with dangerous people and having no one who can love her.
In this new flashback, we see Robin contemplate ending her journey out of sheer loneliness and a sense of pointlessness as to where she is going.
But here, we have Saul, whose survival meant a part of her old family was still alive somewhere in the world, being able to tell Robin that she made it.
There will be a BREAK NEXT WEEK.
One Piece Chapter 1134 will be released on December 23, 2024 and there will be a Christmas break for the Weekly Shonen Jump Magazine the week after.
However there is a possibility of an early chapter release before December 30, 2024, which would be the due date for the Chapter 1135.
