Shin Quits the Sakamoto Store! Sakamoto Days Chapter 191 Spoilers
Shin quits the Sakamoto Store to kill a threat to the family.
In the previous Sakamoto Days chapter, Shin manages to rescue Atari from Tenkyu and we witness how far Atari’s luck seems to go.
Will she keep this up?
Day 191 is titled, “Out of Luck”
This chapter has 19 pages.
While running with Atari and her group, Shin remarks that Tenkyu is someone they cannot underestimate due to his immense skill and killer instinct.
Heisuke remarks that he did not expect the fortune-teller to be so young and had thought it would be an older person.
Shin asks Atari why she made the effort to rescue him in the first place.
Hoshi, one of the prison guards joining Atari’s escape, remarks that “Shorty” (Shin) is a “lucky item”
Atari remarks that Shin does not look like Gary Oldman.
Does this mean she likes a specific actor (like Momo Ayase from Dandadan)?
Atari pulls on Shin’s jacket sleeve, remarking that lucky items are supposed to be wear and Shin protests to being an object worn by some girl.
Suddenly, a potted plant falls on Atari and hits her head, which makes her unable to move.
Hoshi is surprised by this and lifts her up as Atari has also stepped on 100 pieces of gum that has stuck to her feet.
This makes Atari cling to Shin as a lucky item but just as she contemplates on how unlucky she has become, Tenkyu suddenly comes to them by smashing through a wall.
Tenkyu kicks away Hoshi, sending the guard flying off.
Realizing what Tenkyu is after, Shin takes hold of Atari’s hand and runs for it.
Tenkyu shoots Shin down and captures Atari.
While grabbing one of Atari’s pigtails, Tenkyu asks what he needs to do to return to his friends.
However, Atari tells him that it is impossible as one of Kei Uzuki’s personalities will not accept him.
Getting impatient without changing his expression, Tenkyu shakes Atari and asks her fortune-telling luck to make something work.
Atari says that she has run out of luck and explains that everyone has a limited amount of good fortune.
For Atari’s case, her ability is nothing more than “borrowing luck in advance”.
Because she has used up all her present and future luck, she can no longer gain any more luck within herself.
This is the fate of a family that survived only by making predictions about the world of assassins.
Shin is surprised that all this time, Atari has been using all her luck for the JAA.
Tenkyu still thinks that because Atari is still alive, she still has some luck but Atari says that she intends to use that last bit of luck for a different cause.
Uh-oh, a death flag.
Speaking of, Tenkyu begins strangling her, exclaiming that it is natural to want what others have.
Shin has had enough of Tenkyu, realizing that it was naive to control someone who was capable of hurting a defenseless girl or threaten Aoi and Hana.
Frustrated by the existence of evil people like Tenkyu, Shin states that he would rather see them dead and takes Atari back.
After bringing her to Heisuke and Hoshi, Shin gives his name tag to Heisuke and declares that he will quit the Sakamoto Store so that he can kill Tenkyu himself as an assassin, like he always was.
Shin expresses how he and Heisuke have changed ever since they worked under Taro Sakamoto but seeing vile people like Tenkyu has made him realize that deep down, he will always be an assassin, so he will use this dark nature to stop this threat to the Sakamoto Family.
