The Day Sakamoto Saved Shin’s Life! Sakamoto Days Chapter 197 Spoilers!!
Sakamoto was definitely the father-figure Shin needed and he was just 19 at this time.
In the previous Sakamoto Days chapter, we enter Shin’s past as we see how Shin tried to manipulate Sakamoto to help him find his real father, Ando, who happens to be Sakamoto’s target to kill.
Days 197 is titled, “The Seatbelt”
This chapter has 19 pages.

This chapter begins with Shin expressing his intent to use his clairvoyance to find Ando and Sakamoto tells Shin that Ando is his target.
Knowing that lying would not work, Shin reveals his goal of finding his true father and even begs to spare his life.
Sakamoto asks about Shin’s age, which is 13, and this makes Sakamoto casually tell him that he is old enough to live his own life.
Sakamoto also says that if he were in Shin’s place, he would not want to meet a father that abandoned him.
But Shin thinks Sakamoto does not understand him because Sakamoto is strong.
Shin yearns for his father to understand him
Timely enough, Shin suddenly hears someone’s thoughts about Ando being harsh with his subordinates.
This person is annoyed that Ando wanted to have flight tickets arranged all of a sudden, thinking there is no need to worry about GMI pursuers.
Sakamoto notices the man and makes the same conclusion as Shin about his connections to Ando.
It is almost like Sakamoto’s intuition is as sharp as a clairvoyant’s.
However, Sakamoto explains and coaches to Shin about how he is terrible at hiding his expressions.
Everything from his facial expressions and breathing to his body posture and sweating
So Shin runs away, as if thinking Sakamoto needed him.
Shin runs away and tells an old woman that the man behind him (Sakamoto in pursuit) is dying of hunger as a distraction but Sakamoto destroys the watermelon the woman offered.
If Aoi knew this story, she would be a bit mad.
However, the old woman retaliates and pushes the watermelon left in her hand on Sakamoto’s mouth.
Behind him are masseuses that Shin called and this was enough of a distraction to get Shin out of Sakamoto’s sight.
Shin is amazed to find a cruiser and as he enters, he finally sees his father Ando for the first time, accompanied by bodyguards and with someone kneeling in front of him.
While holding the documents he has, Shin wonders how he should approach his dad or ask why the man abandoned him.
However, Ando shoots the kneeling man and realizes they might have been followed, much to Shin’s shock.
Suddenly, he is captured by Ando’s men, one of whom asks if the boy is Ando’s son but Ando coldly says that he has no children and to throw Shin to the sea.
Shin thinks he is destined to die alone all along.
As Sakamoto drives a stolen car, chased by the lady and masseuses, Sakamoto sees Shin fall from the cruiser, make a hard left turn and glides towards Shin
Shin is surprised to be on the car, which lands on the cruiser in front of the surprised passengers.
Sakamoto makes the excuse that he wanted to balance the falling car.
Sakamoto and Shin walk around the cruiser as Sakamoto declares his intent to kill Ando in front of Shin.
