What was the point of this sneak peek? Was it to highlight the two characters as the leads for the cover page?
The first sneak peek of the latest Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter is quite significant as we finally see the payoff of Kashin Koji’s warnings about Jura. Jura is in a bookstore and the Leaf has to be on their best behavior in front of him to ensure the village does not get destroyed by him.
The second one is…less so.
Here, we see Yodo and Araya bicker in the middle of their mission together with the Leaf Village.

Araya is quite annoyed that Yodo is overprotective towards her.
Konohamaru tells them to stop arguing, which makes Araya apologize for her rash behavior.
This might seem like an annoying page to preview but it could be to signify that they will be important to the chapter or that Yodo and Araya, Shinki’s teammates, are going to feature on the cover of the chapter.
Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 17 is titled, “The Child of the Beast” and will be released officially on December 20, 2024.
